From the homepage, visitors could learn more about GV's grassroots work or go directly to the online store where they could start gifting.
GV customizes donations through gifting items specific to each project and its needs. All items are locally purchased and distributed. Their goal is to give the donor the power to oversee where and how their donation is spent.
Each project was divided into several pages breaking down in detail GVs efforts in that region. Gifting recommendations specific to that project were dynamically served in sidebars.

GV leveraged a large amount of videos and photos from their projects to generate interest and gifting for their causes.
An interactive map allowed visitors to see GV's world-wide efforts.
Scrolling banners guided users to specific projects and calls to action.
Visitors could signup to receive Shaking the Tree, the GV newsletter. Data was stored on the site in a database which GV could leverage for email announcements and gifting campaigns.
The GV email template was flexible to allow monthly newsletters, announcements and specific calls to action and gifting.
